To enrol the University of León as an international student, there are several possibilities:
A.- If your home university or institution doesn't have a link with the University of León (you are a free mover) and:
a) You would like to obtain a Spanish degree ¢ your entry process will be managed by the:

b) You would like to study only a few subjects (non degree seeking) ¢ you will have to register yourself as "estudiante visitante": The office which manages this program is the:

B.- If you are a student from the ERASMUS program or from an institution with formal links (exchange agreement) with the University of León : follow the next directions:
Application deadlines:
June 15 to start in September (first semester).
1st. November to start in February (second semester).
Steps:
1.- Fill in the application form you may access at:
Formulario de solicitud
2.- Mail us the following documents duly filled-in:
- The application form printed version (formulario de solicitud) duly signed by you and by the coordinator at your home institution.
- a copy of your Identity Card or your Passport.
- A transcript of grades.
- Supporting document signed by your home university certifying your participation in your exchange program (this doc is not necessary if application has been signed and sealed by your home institution).
- two passport photographs with white background.
- Learning agreement (course selection preliminary; You may use the document used by your home institution as long as it clearly identifies the subjects you would like to take at ULE or download our document from: http://www.unileon.es/internacional/guia.
The application forms received at the International Relations office after the deadline will be considered but those students will not be admitted in the intensive pre-semester Spanish course and will obtain the student card later than the rest (which means restricted use of computer rooms, libraries, etc.)
3.- Upon arrival
- the student must report to the International Relations Office where they will check your file for last minute formalities, hand your student card, give you accommodation details and solve your doubts. You will be requested to show your Medical Insurance with coverage in Spain (proof of private insurance -policy- or European Union document). In case of private insurances, showing a simple "Insurance card" will not suffice. Please take with you a written statement of coverage of your insurance policy (accepted in your home country language).
