Conocer los elementos estructurantes y documentos normativos de la planificación urbana. Conocer los modelos generales de planeamiento urbano que se han aplicado en las ciudades. Diseñar y desarrollar situaciones de aprendizaje de contenidos conceptuales , procidementales y actitudinales de la planificación urbana que propicien el conocimiento y la valoración del patrimonio urbano, la formación ciudadana y el respeto de los derechos humanos, que faciliten la vida en sociedad en nuestras ciudades, la toma de decisiones y la construcción de ciudades mas eficientes y sostenibles. Conocer y entender las distintas fuentes de datos y técnicas de la planificación urbana. Capacidad de razonamiento crítico y de tomas de decisiones. Conocer y aplicar los distintos modelos de planificación en la ciudad. Ser capaz de realizar y utilizar una cartografía de localización optima de usos o actividades en las ciudades.
